Downham, Jenny(2011). You against me: New York. David Fickling Books
Downham's book talks about how telling the truth is important because you can end up getting someone in trouble for a very long time, when it wasn't their fault. Tom Parker was accused of raping a young girl who was at his party and the next day she told her mother that she was raped and Tom Parker's family did everything they could to clear his name. His parents even had his little sister to keep lying for him and promised her to not tell the truth to anyone. this book is mostly about how lying leads into bad situations then once you tell the truth people has a different opinion about you. its better to tell the truth than having everyone not going to believe what you are telling them anymore.
The book wouldn't be a useful source because it's not giving you specific information or telling you directly on what to do. the information can be reliable it depends on how you take the situation because in the book there is fighting, love/romance, and a whole lot of drama. This book would be biased because it is unfairly of the girl who gotten raped and everyone is saying that she was lying about the whole situation, including Tom Parker's sister who they also said was lying about the situation.
The source has changed my thinking because if I was in the situation with my brother accused of rap and I knew what he had actually done to her, then I would have told the truth to the police and the family of the person who gotten raped. I would tell people about this book because it gets you thinking about a whole different type of problem and solution that could end of happening in the world today.
